Welcome to Far Niente Cottage, a classic cottage  in the heart of Crystal Beach, Ontario, Canada. 

"Dolce far niente"...roughly translates to "the sweetness of doing nothing" and this is the perfect spot to do as little or as much as you choose!

Crystal Beach is a wonderful little lakefront community within a short drive of Buffalo and Toronto and only about twenty minutes from all that famous Niagara Falls has to offer. Our comfortable cottage is less than a two minute walk to the world class beaches of Lake Erie and is equipped with everything you need for a week of family fun.

Please note that our changeover day is typically Saturday. 

While we generally rent seasonally (summer), we are quite willing to consider rentals at other times of the year.  Far Niente is fully winterized and Niagara is wonderful in the winter too! 

Please remember that we receive many inquiries.  We do not consider the cottage booked until we receive a deposit.  Please contact us directly at 905 384 2500 to confirm available dates.

Far Niente Cottage rents for $150.00 per night or $1000.00 per week inclusive.  We are happy to consider discounts for longer stays, seniors and small families!  Rentals generally do not include linen but linen may be provided for a nominal fee.  Rentals run from Saturday at 3:00 p.m. to Saturday at 10:00 a.m.  During high season (mid-June to mid-September) our minimum rental period is one week.
